Job: Electronic Assembler

We are looking for an Electronic Assembler to join our busy assembly area as part of a small team.

Working Hours: 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: £10 to £11 per hour depending on skills & experience

Duties will include:

• Hand placement of through hole & SMD components
• Hand soldering of through hole & SMD components
• PCB assembly Rework
• Cutting, crimping, wiring
• Some mechanical assembly of housings/boxes/cabinets
• Wave solder operation
• Assembly Spot Cleaning and machine washing

 

Knowledge or experience in the following is preferred:

• IPC J-STD-001 soldering requirements
• ESD Precautions & best practice
• Identification of component type and value
• Ability to read and work from Bills of Materials, Parts lists and drawings
• Visual inspection of own work

Job: Electronic & Mechanical Assembler Required

Electronic Assembly of PCB’s & mechanical assembly of final products.

Electronic component knowledge and understanding is essential along with Experience of similar roles within a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Ability to read and decipher drawings is expected.

Candidates must be prepared to work as part of a team or complete individual tasks requiring a high level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience of SMT not essential but would be preferred.

Salary is negotiable based on Experience and skill set.
