Thursday, November 6th, 2008Key Product - make assumption on what the visitor is looking for, add an enticing graphic that stimulates them into learning more about your offer. Positive images, smiling people, pets, guarantees, etc.
Depth of Offer - give the visitor choices. Consider using a frame page with choices they may be interested in. Delivery up the page with correlating keywords from navigation menu, enticing graphic and call to action. Using tabs with Most Viewed, Most Picked, Staff Picks, Unadvertized Specials, Local only, etc.
General Branding and Treatment - gain the trust of the visitor and describe to them each step of the journey they are on with your product offering.
Off-Navigation - give visitors choices to keep them interesting and interacting. For example, a ski lodge may show the snow report, weather report, events, calendar, etc.
